This patch fixes a problem with running the dictionary on Pocket PC 2003
devices.
Instruction
Download the appropriate file for your Pocket PC device, and copy it over the
original EK.EXE on your Pocket PC device.

to get your latest update. To apply this patch, download
KHDicts250Patch1.zip and uncompress it into the directory where you originally
installed Khmer Dictionary Suite v2.50 (the default directory is
C:\XIMPLEX\Khmer Dictionary Suite 2.5). The following fixes have been
made to this program.

Fixed a registration problem that incorrectly requiring some users to register
when running this program on Windows XP Home edition. If you don't have
registration problem running this program, you don't need to apply this patch.
ODBC Buffer Size
To improve the searching performance of the program, please follow these steps
below to increase the ODBC buffer size.

Go to Control Panel.

Open Administrative Tools icon.
-
Open Data Sources (ODBC) icon.
-
Click on System DSN tab.
-
Select khdicts in Name column.
-
Click Configure... button.
-
Click Options>> button.
-
In buffer size, change it to 4096. Here is what you see.

Click OK.
-
Click OK on ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog.

to get your latest update. To apply this patch, download ek2patch1.zip
and uncompress it including its subdirectories into the directory where you
originally installed English-Khmer Dictionary v2 (the default directory is
C:\XIMPLEX\EK2). The following fixes have been made to this program.

When you add new entry and upon completing the saving process, the program
prompts you whether or not to continue updating. If you answer Yes and
you immediately add the next entry, the program overwrites your last
entry. It can possibly overwrite your other entries. This is now
fixed.

When you run the program before it expires and you choose to register but you
never complete the registration, the program exits and says "Invalid
License." This is now fixed. Instead, the program will let you
continue to use the program during this pre-registration period.
-
The sound file for "father" is bad. The zip file contains the correct
file.

Installing US-International Keyboard Layout for Windows XP:

Go to Control Panel
-
Double-click on Regional and Language Options
-
Click on Languages tab
-
Click on "Details..." button
-
Click on "Add..." button
-
Select United States-International in the "Keyboard layout/IME" list
-
Click on OK in the Add Input Language dialog
-
Click on OK in the Text Services and Input Languages dialog
-
Click on OK in the Regional and Language Options dialog
-
Be sure to select United States-International keyboard layout in the Language
Bar to use it.
Installing US-International Keyboard Layout for Windows NT 4 & 2000:
-
Go to Control Panel
-
Double-click on Keyboard
-
Go to "Input Locales" tab
-
Click on Change button
-
Scroll down and select Keyboard and if "United States-International" is not
already in the list, click on Add
-
Check the box "Keyboard Layout / IME"
-
Select "United States-International" in the list
-
Click on OK in the Add Input Language dialog
-
Click on OK in the Text Services dialog
-
Click on OK in the Keyboard Properties dialog
-
Be sure to select United States-International keyboard layout in the Language
Bar to use it.
Installing US-International Keyboard Layout for Windows 95 & 98
-
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
-
Double-click Keyboard.
-
Click the Language tab.
-
Click Properties.
-
In the Keyboard layout box, click the keyboard layout that you want to use, and
then click OK.
-
Click OK, and then close Control Panel.
Add new fonts in Windows
-
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
-
Double-click the Fonts folder.
-
On the File menu, click Install New Font.
-
The Add Fonts dialog box appears.
-
Under drives, change to the C: drive.
-
Under folders, change to FONTS.
-
Click the font you want to add. To select more than one font at a time, hold
down the CTRL key while you click each font.
-
Make sure the Copy Fonts To Fonts Folder box is checked.
-
Click OK.
